Ame's POV

As Ame slowly opened her eyes to the sight of faint sunlight rushing through her red curtains, she sat up in her bed that was a bit big for her, considering her size. Ame continued to get out of bed, eager to see fellow vampires and human students while getting her schedule. Ame got ready, putting her hair into low braided pigtails, a black bow on each one, and the uniform. She requested she have a longer skirt, and instead of the short one, her skirt reaches just below her knees. Ame looked over to one of the armchairs in her room, where her stuffed bunny Emi sat. She was white with a few stitches, and one beady red eye, the other fell off. Before she went to go meet with her sister, who's room was just across the hall, she grabbed Emi and exited her dorm room.

Ame knocked on her door and said in a small voice, "Sissy..." She stood there with a blank face, her yellowish orange eyes staring the door down, and Emi in her arms. She and her older sister Sera had a strong bond, and because she was quite weak, Sera protected Ame and watched over her 24/7. In a few minutes, they would meet many others like them, and a few that were quite diffrent from her own kind...

Akira's POV

Akira was already WIDE awake and ready for the first day of classes. He was eager to be with Ame for a longer time then their short playdates those years ago, or when they would have picnics in the fields. He had been sitting on his bed for awhile now, watching the sunrise. It was fascinating how all the colors would mix in the early morning sky.

Gurgle.

Then a sound interrupted his peace. His stomach just growled. Of course... He was always eating something anyway. Akira had to get going now that the sun was fully up, and students were already heading down to the office. While walking down the hallway, he saw Ame standing infront if Sera's door, looking as innocent as usual. "Hey! Ame-chi! Over here!" He gave her that nickname when they were kids. Ame turned to look at him with a smile on her face, and sparkling eyes. "Akira-kun.." she faintly said. Akira hugged her, and she hugged back. Ame gave him an irritated look that said, 'She is taking too long' Akira stood beside her and kicked on Sera's door shouting "Sera! Hurry up! I'm hungry and wanna get some food!!" Well he was sure to get a beat down once that door opened...
