Rudi went up to the counter and got shoes for the both of them. He also paid for lane 6. He handed Emily her shoes and walked with her down to lane 6. Rudi slipped off his skate shoes and slid on the dirty, grimy bowling shoes. Without hesitation Rudi got up and got a few bowling balls from the rack and put them on the ball return machine.
