The sights of the castle were nothing less than impressive. As Alexis was lead to the throne room, her eyes often wandered to the windows on the walls and the interior decor of the castle. All so… Classy? Prestigious? Either way, she knew what the impressiveness aimed to do: flaunt the wealth, impress other kingdoms. From what a Past Princess had told her, the relationship to the Arian kingdom and the Scorpion kingdom relied solely on economy.
”Though, it’s not like we are hindered. If anything, we are in charge in this situation. They know we have the power to overtake them.” Those were the words the Past Princess had shared. Alexis’s lips had pursed, knowing the real reason the Arian kingdom didn’t attack. She would never admit it but she would admit she knew. Ugh, this is what thinking does to her.
”How long until we reach the throne room?” Alexis asked sternly, looking at the servant who lead her forward. He nearly jumped at her tone before gesturing to a doorway. Nodding, she walked passed him, slightly upset to have been lost in thought from the resounding silence. Alexis pushed the doors open. They swung wide as she strode in, her face stern and unamused. She wasn’t necessarily pissed… Yet.
