Emily raised her eyebrows towards him subtly. "Emma.. that's new. Definitely haven't heard my students call me that." She seemed to trail off in thought, before remembering Jay. "Sorry.. I kinda miss my kids. I was a band director before I moved." She smiled, happy at the distant memory.
"So, why are you in the city?" She asked. "I guess I can tell you mine. Make it fair." She shrugged lightly, and sipped on a cup she'd filled with some juice from the punch bowl on the table. "I um.. I moved to travel, and I'm kinda regretting leaving all my students. They're high schoolers, but, I guess you get attached whether you want to or not." She chuckled, running a hand through her hair.
She looked up to see Jay. Emily, took in his smell, and the way his eyes were too blue, and his chin too chiseled. How he'd look damn flattering in just a faded t-shirt and faded 3 year old boxers. Her eyes brightened up as he was talking, and she held her cup with both hands, hoping he couldn't see the nervousness in her eyes, and her lip twitching as she was taking in more of his appearance by the minute.
