She examined the forge excitedly, the heat of the furnaces reminding her of home. Alexis would often times skip away from Zari to check out the nearby work stations. Her mind was abuzz with inventions and different ways of improving the metals. Then again, she wouldn't SHARE them. After all, she was... Kind of... Listening to the Princess as she explained the history of the forge. Alexis longed to try it, holding an iron in her hands and watching it clang against burning metal, sparks flying! Alas, she lacked the skill to do such things. But that didn't mean she couldn't dream. Alexis was a user of weapons, not a creator, but to her the workers constructing such intricate pieces of work was almost God-like.
About to go off again, Alexis was stopped by a question directed at her. She recomposed herself, thinking on the question and how to answer. "What drives me to fight the way I do...?" Alexis repeated, the general message still present. Would it truly be worth it to share her trials with the Prince? That she had to do this 'or else'? No... She would not portray such a disdaining image upon her kingdom. The Princess of Leo could take many actions in response to her tale and Alexis wanted that wouldn't lead to war and make her seem weak.
She laughed heartily, eyes lighting up. "Ah, ya got me. Then again, why would an Arian be all the way here in the mountains?" Alexis let her hands intertwine behind her, looking at where they were going. "I am to fight the Prince of Aries in a few months. I've been traveling for a while, going through the different kingdoms to pick up fighting styles." She looked over at the Princess with a grin. "It was truly a pleasure to fight with you, Princess. I've learned much that I will need to know before the battle between myself and the Prince."
