Edwin's eyes watched her as she ran off to her classes. He knew he should've sent her their earlier, and he would talk to them later and apologize for her tardiness, but frankly, Edwin didn't care at the moment.
He placed his hands on his cheek where her warmth had just left from.
His eyes were dark as he closed them, remembering all the time they've spent together.
"I wish I was the kind of girl who could run away with her forbidden love." Her words resonating in his mind.
He heaved a heavy sigh, "And I, wish I was the kind of man who could run away with his forbidden love." Edwin said sadly.
Edwin stood up and decided to make a bouquet. He gathered some of her favorite flowers from the garden, then went back to the castle. From their he put them into a clear blue vase, filled with water and placed them by her bedside.
Making her bouquets was a habit he had gotten into whenever he was either sorry or trying to cheer her up.
As Alice's classes wrapped up and dinner time rolled around, Edwin had just finished helping set the table as he awaited outside the music room for Alice to emerge so that he may escort her to the table. He smiled, listening to the beautiful music that could be heard from the room.
