The past weeks had been hell for Roger. He hated the whole sordid business, and he had no problem taking it out on the girl. Sabotaging her efforts was surprisingly easy. A word in the right ear, or a sudden search of her quarters, a random doubling of the guard. Easy enough. But her mere presence was an affront to everything he held dear, so her snide comments did nothing but infuriate him. Regardless of the consequences of upsetting the king, he decided to do something drastic. Selecting his best men he paid her a visit.

Nearly breaking down her door, he was caught momentarily by the sight of her eyes, the dazzling blue halting him in his tracks. Shaking himself free of the effect, a deep scowl came over his face. "You are wanted in the Great Hall. Now." Not waiting for an answer he strode forwards and tore the paper out of her hands, flinging it into the fireplace. As if at some signal, his men entered the room and began ransacking it. Papers and clothes torn and scattered as they blasted through her things. Standing with a look of some satisfaction, Roger folded his arms. "I wouldn't hang around if I were you. Things may get a bit messy in here."

Walking to the fireplace, Roger picked out the burning piece of paper, throwing it onto a pile in the center of the room created by his men.
