Eos? He wanted to name the bird Eos? He did have to admit that was a nice name and he heard the goddess was exquisite. It was a fitting name for a bird of fire. And she really was such the sweetest thing. He caught himself smiling at the bird as the man cooed to it and it chirped in innocent happiness. The bird did seem to like the name. All around, it seemed that everyone was happy with the name. "All right, Eos is her name then. Good choice," he answered. He did find the man a bit.... strange though. He had been having quite the heated..... chirping contest? He understood cooing and baby talk but this guy was taking it over the top. Maybe traveling alone had gotten to him. Niall knew that he talked to himself sometimes after all, just to break up the silence.
“I go wherever the wind takes me, if it means staying with Eos, I’d be happy to accompany you.” the man said then. Niall couldn't help but grin. Perfect. He wouldn't be delayed after all. He guessed it would take them maybe 2 to 3 weeks or so to get to the town in question without too many delays. He was going to have to investigate the paths they were going to be taking and figure out the fastest route later when they camped. It was easier to meditate when he was sitting and all was still and quiet. Meditating while walking would land him walking into a tree or losing his awareness of the physical world around him.
"All right then. Onward we go. I say that in a couple of hours we make camp for the night and rest. I know of a good camp ground that I used yesterday and should prove useful tonight as well. Thankfully, I hand the hindsight of knowing I would be traveling in that direction again today so we have the wood we need for a fire collected, though I bet little Eos can help in that regard as well," he mused. Niall started walking towards his old camp then. "Do you have food with you? If not we can share what I have for tonight. Since we are traveling together, I do expect you to share in the duties. We'll trade who has to collect wood for the fire and hunting for meals. You do have weapons, don't you?" Speaking of which, he hadn't seen the man with any weapons. He glanced behind him and surveyed him. No bag either. Where did he keep all of his things? Did he really just travel around with nothing? This guy had a death wish.
