Youta slides one eye open, the world seems blurry, dark, muddled. This is how it always is, the life underground isn't Youta's favorite, still the young man has made the most of it. For instance, Youta has entertained some of the children by escorting them around the man made cave system in 'adventures', the kids love it and Youta enjoys helping get the children's mind off of danger. Youta has also helped to relocate many of the families into the underground, Youta may not be the strongest walker but he knows how to work with people.
Youta slides out of his sleeping bag, stretching his weary muscles, a hard dirt floor can be a pain sometimes. Now the blonde moves on to his grooming and morning rituals. He grabs a piece of bread from the meager supplies he has for food, taking a bite from the near stale loaf. After a few nibbles he's defeated opting to take a granola bar for the road. After breakfast Youta exits his small tent in the underground complex that houses the survivors. As he heads to the meeting point he finds that many others meet his attention with smiles or jokes of their own.
After making his way upwards he finds himself with Blade near the gate, the leader of the walkers looking through his belongings. "Hey big guy. Morning to you, I suppose we have to wait here until the rest show. What a lazy morning in the neighborhood."
