❝Let the soul leave
before the wind sears
You upon the hollow belly
with its nails so keen
shaped by the volcano’s obsidian
raised drinking glass❞

Niall blushed lightly at the man's observation of his vision state. He must have been here for a while if he had been watching him 'sleeping' while he was sitting. He was lucky the man hadn't tried something while he was out. That was one problem with the visions; weren't careful and someone could slit your throat without so much as a fuss. He shuddered at the thought and just gave the man a polite smile considering he wasn't quite sure what to say to the man now. He felt a bit out of it and what he saw wasn't very reassuring. He didn't really want to go through the town. It looked like there was too much stuff going on there. He didn't want to get mixed up in that. He would have to check out the other roads and figure out where to go now. He wasn't sure he wanted to do that with Keisuke watching him.
"Yeah... sure. Night," he said softly.
Niall watched the man for a good while to make sure the man was asleep. He even waved in front of his eyes and the man didn't move an inch. He was still a bit hesitant to go into another vision but he had to. He had too know what they may encounter on the roads. He couldn't see his future and surprisingly not Keisuke's either, but as long as he could see the roads, he'd get an idea. Niall took another deep breath and focused on the fire in front of him which eased him back into another vision.
The forest he wanted to continue through instead of the town wasn't any better. He saw a bandit group hauled up in the forest and he didn't want a run in with them. He wasn't sure he could take on the bandits and for sure this guy couldn't, what with his 'no weapons' motto. People in towns were much easier to deal with. And there were a few roaming cougars to boot. Yelch. Sooooo town it was then.
Niall groaned and rubbed his eyes and head to clear it and try and ease the ache there. He had been in the Mist too long. Shit he was going to fall asleep and he was going to be out like a light. There was nothing he was going to be able to do about it. He flopped back into his bed and rolled on his side to face away from the fire and closed his tired eyes, hoping beyond hope they weren't ambushed by the bandits tonight. Or anything else.
The young seer was surprisingly the first to rise. He groaned and blinked his eyes wildly. He was so hot and it was the reason why he had woken up in the first place. He felt like he was burning. He looked down a bit groggy to see a certain little fire bird curled up beneath his chin and evidently keeping him more than warm enough. He pet the Phoenix and sat up with a stretch and looked over at the other man who was still asleep. He heard a little chirp and looked at the unraveling bird and smiled. "Morning Eos. Go wake up Keisuke."
Eos fluttered her wings and gave a chirp before she hurried over to Keisuke and cuddled up against his chest and started to heat him up the way she heated up Niall. In the meantime, Niall began to clean up camp and pack his things.
