From the winds and breezes she moulded 10 figures. These children were formed to be similar to humans, but taller, swifter, and stronger with an impressive set of wings, and took on the translucent appearance of their mother. She gifted them with the ability to manipulate the air to attack and defend. They were to act as protectors of her followers and senteniels of the island. Iena named them the Sylkyr.
On a mild evening in the central village, Iena's raven circled overhead to beckon her followers. She appeared before them with her children.
"Allow me to introduce you to your new protectors. The Sylkyr will be your protectors and your direct connection to me. They are fierce warriors and are loyal to me and my followers. Please do not fear them as they are your brethren. The Sylkyr are small in number and are unable to procreate, however they possess great strength and longevity. As a way to strengthen your bond, the most devout of your children will be initiated into their order each year. They will be trained and raised amongst them and will eventually take on their forms"
