Makorai closed the gap between them, but kept at arms length, as he didn't want to be on the receiving end of Oren's retribution for violating her personal space.

The vampire turned his cheek sideways to better facilitate the blown kiss he was 90% certain wasn't coming. His eyes moved back over to Valentine as his face turned.
