The blonde was tired of mingling. The smile was starting to hurt her cheeks. The champagne did not have a high enough alcohol concentration for her and to tie all this together she had spotted her ex. Teegan did not stare at Gabriel for long, in fact she made it a point to stay away from him. Though she would never admit this out loud, she still loved him. She would do just about anything for him. And it completely destroyed her when they broke up because the stupid spoiled bitch that she might have to soon call a step sister. Just that idea forced, Teegs to down the contents in the glass and grab another one.
She had seen Brynn and Erin over the way, conversing. She would make a point to talk to them before the night was up. But Michael, her producer, wanted her to use this party as a career booster. Casually drinking with friends was not a part of the plan. She took a sip of champagne. She needed to calm her nerves. More than anything she wanted to go home and become best friends with her Jack Daniels. It was better than this. Better than playing pretend. She would not be able to keep up this perfect image for long. Her phone buzzed and she glanced at the message sender. It was Gabriel. Rarely, does he send messages to her. Usually Teegan sends then when she is highly intoxicated. She read the message, not being able to stop the small smile that crept across her face. More than anything she wanted to respond in a way that would get him to take her home. But she was not drunk enough. And she is supposed to be over him
To: Gabriel
Thank you. You look quite handsome
That was safe. This party was going to be the death of her. "Teegan." She turned to her father's voice. Mrs. Arnault was linked to his arm, so the blonde smiled as politely as she could. "Could you find Juliet so we can all take a picture together." The smiled died. Teegan's main plan for tonight was to stay away from her. Every time they were together, they were arguing about something. "No." she said simply. Her father was not taking that as an answer. "Go find her. Now." It was as if Teegan was a child. Reluctantly agreeing, she went on the hunt for a skinny blonde bitch. It should not be hard to find a spoiled princess in the crowd. There were only two at this party. Aaliyah and Juliet.
After finishing another glass of champagne, she found Juliet. "Save the glare. Our parents want a picture." she said, not even attempting to pretend that she likes her. "The quicker we take this picture, the sooner we no longer have to see each other." She assured the blonde. Teegan waited for some arguing followed by some form of agreement. They needed to take this picture or their parents would just come and get them to do it later. She glanced over at Brynn and Erin for a moment before deciding to text them.
To: Erin, Brynn
