The wolf, fired up by the heavy scent of stag blood, was in no position to listen, let along co-operate, and was bag on the deer carcass within moments, crouched over it defensively with its teeth bared. The defence of her meal was enough of a distraction that the beast didn't noticed that it was being aimed at. Well not until a dart thudded into the fur below its ribs.

The Kora-werewolf snarled aloud in outrage and tore in Stride's direction, jaws slung wide and foamy drool spattering the flagstones. Feet from the gorgon though, the beast's limbs abruptly gave way beneath it, and it was thrown violently to the floor by its own velocity. The creature snapped and rasped out more enraged snarling from the position before its head flopped forwards onto the ground tongue lolling out and mouth hung still wide open.

Oren stood and watched, distinctly unimpressed.
"I'd take this point to dissect you Norrevinter, but my research depends too much on your family's funding."

The vampress' grey gaze flickered over to Issac.
"You can try if you feel like taking that on. Honestly I think she only does it to antagonize the nasty vampire bitch here." she remarked flattly.
" It's going to be for her own benefit anyway, but if princess is going to be a brat about it I'll move down the test list, come back to her and hope she doesn't expire from the genetic diseases of her ancestors marrying their cousins for generations in the interim. I still get my money at the end of the month either way."

On the path meanwhile the hulking form of the wolf had begun to snap and twitch, limbs shortening down and wiry hair falling out in large clumps before seeming to dissolve away into nothing, leaving pale skin behind. Soon the unconscious form of a woman was lying on the flags in the place of the enormous animal, wavy red hair half splayed out across her face.

Oren eyed the werewolf with general disdain in her eyes, before turning to go back inside. The sunlight was not really her friend.
"Don't start slacking off all of you. We've got a meeting soon. Hope you have all got your reports up to now. Hope you're not planning anything this morning either because I have lots of findings to present. I'm sure Wolf Moon is going to be overjoyed at a morning of in-depth research analysis."
