Taao heard the other saiyan but it was hard to take his attention off the enemy, this man, he was so relaxed and confident in the face of them even though they'd beaten down their army nearly to submission. Taao shook off the momentary shock and made his way over to the saiyans with a single leap, making sure to position himself behind the two of them as he would waste no time in gathering his energies, pooling all his remaining strength to bring to bear against their new, strong enemy, after this he would have nothing left to hold back. He squatted slightly with his legs spread at shoulder length and his arms tucked at his sides as he powered up to the max, to onlookers his green skin would appear to glow as an aura of a deep violet energy surrounded his body like a thin membrane just above his skin, the air around him crackled with energy as dust and debris where blown away from his immediate surrounding. Veins in his arms, legs, and skull became prominent as blood pumped through them at an extreme rate. Taoo stood tall when the power up was complete, his muscles bulged, puffed and grew as they where infused with all the energy Taao could bring to bear. He certainly felt stronger, but deep inside he was aware that there was more, he just couldn't reach it as he was.

" Yeah, let's do this. " was the reply that came only after he'd powered up. He could see the smirk forming on the commander's face, he was obviously surprised but not impressed, as if things merely became a little more interesting but no less dangerous than before. " Show me your best moves " the villian challenged, and Taao was going to do just that. Knowing that even in his current state if he got to close, he could be defeated rather handily if he took one of those blast, he was already thinking back on his attack against the arcosian warrior, thinking that if he just goes for the heart the first time and the fight could be over in an instant, he just needed an attack that could pierce his enemies heart before they even realize their in danger. Using his claws was one method, but against this man without the element of surprise he'd end up dead for sure if he tried it. A beam attack, it was the only way, he'd have to overcome his inability to focus a blast down to a beam, right here, right now. If he could achieve that do that then he had no doubts he'd be able to hit his target, even if it was moving. All he had to do was teach himself a new technique in the heat of battle, no big deal.
