As Patriarch Julius strode down the hall leading to Brynjar's quarters, he double-checked his robes to ensure he had the correct documents he would need to bring to the future king's attention. Duty to the realm stopped for no man, even the king. True to his word, he would be introducing the king to his new handmaiden. As much as he disliked the girl, King Artos desired her to serve his son and he would carry out the late king's wish. He owed him that at the very least. He waited for a few minute for the handmaiden to appear. He wanted to get this task over with as soon as possible.
"She better get here soon," he murmured before deciding that he could not wait for her any longer. He proceeded to knock upon the door and step into the room, bowing his head as he addressed his future liege.
"Your Grace. Preparations for your coronation are underway. A few things require your attention this morning, however..."
