Adriel didn't want to worry her, but the affects of her attack took something from him. He felt weak, weaker than he ever has. It happened a lot with Amariah, like she was draining the demonic power he claimed. Heavenly fire could obliterate demons quite easily, and he was lucky to be alive. Adriel wouldn't tell her any of it. He wouldn't tell her of the blindness he felt after her attack, or the burning he felt along his back. No, all he did was kiss her, deeply. He knew that demons could heal, but only the ones that had been angels and known true healing. All at once, a surge of power rushes from him into her, and unbeknownst to him, his eyes glowed a light pink color, rather than their usual black. His body went numb, cold. The usual demon fire he felt within him was exhausted.
