The Dual Chanpions Feraligator seemed to take an instant dislike to Thomas judging by the roars and growls emanating from the creature. Alex could never realize that the Pokemons actions were actually a response to the hostility aimed at his trainer. Thomas didn't react muc aside from giving the Feraligator a slight stare and Alex was content with that confident that Thonas could handle anything this Feraligator could throw at him.

Alex didn't react much as Nanami spoke though the stung of being forgotten still lingered it was relieved slightly by her explanation. The Ex-Champion didn't exactly agree with everything she said but he did see her point in one thing at least. Everyone was tired and excarbating the current situation wouldn't do any good for Amex or his travel weary team. Then she extended her hand intending to reach some kind of truce. Alex stared at her hand for a moment not really interested in grabbing it. So he didnnt and instead opened his mouth to speak. Prompting some quick psychic advice from Thomas. "maybe you don't realize it but you've been fairly rude to her. Maybe she's beaten us before but nows not the time and besides she's apologized for forgetting you. Just let it go and be nice."

With a sigh Alex looked at his Pokemon with a genuine apologitic look. Thomas was usually the only one who could talk sense into the stubborn insecure trainer. Of course he didn't always listen but Thomas was thankful that this time at least it worked. "Fine. I don't necessarily agree but I do see your point. No harm in playing nice for the moment I suppose. Perhaps when we've been settled we can have a rematch for last time. Assuming you remember last time. Just know I don't plan on losing twice."

Alex never really knew what playing nice meant and Thomas sighed as he realized that was the best he could expect from Alex prompting some more psychic communication. But not with Alex this time. This time he spoke to Nanami. She wouldn't be able to respond like Alex could but someone had to apologize. "Sorry about Alex. He doesn't always mean to be rude that's just how he is sometimes. It gets to him when people forget about him like that especially people who've beaten him before. Hope you don't hold it against him to much. with that he quickly went to rejoin Alex.

Not long after the girl Ruth Ono had brought them to the meeting place and promptly left them to their own devices until the moment this so called king arrived. He looked around at the other guests he knew most of them. There was a well known coordinator here as well as "The Shadow Lady" apprentice to Elite Four member Karen. The only one he didn't know was the girl with white hair.

Not really wanting to socialize with the others at least not at the moment Alex was perfectly content to take a random seat and wait for the king. Thomas sat next to him and so they both say silently communicating with one another.
