Taking another long drink, Tiff groaned crushing the can of Hellhound between her fingers before flinging it to the four winds. God, she was so thirsty, it always happened after drinking Hellhound's, damn good for picking her energy up, and boy was it addictive if she had a vice it was drinking this. Then again, she was active and always intent on learning. That being said, she was out of money, so would have to drink a tap in a restroom. Unhygienic, maybe? But who cared. Not like she was bothered, it was late and it was really time to get back to her homestead. Being she was skint, she quickly hopped the barrier, stopping only as she heard what sounded like a loud boom. Pausing halfway over, she noted it appeared to come from the east. Staying still, she listened to check if there was anything, before shrugging and figuring not her problem.
Once over the barrier, she half ran quickly to the sink, turning the faucet and staring at the grubby reflection. Urgh, the beds under her eyes showed what she already knew. Had not slept for a few days, too focused on training and trying to practice her gift. It was frustrating as she knew she could do this. Her matted blonde hair showing signs of dirt and clearly having been unwashed. Stringy, fuck she needed a shower or something. Well this would need to do, gripping the faucet with her gangly arms she collected a portion of water in her hand and splashed it over her face a few times. It was the closest thing she would get to a bath that was for sure.
Groaning, she repeated this and this time took of the water from her hands, about four times before she stumbled out of the toilet and once more bypassed the barrier. Although, this time someone saw, quickly she started to run before she felt it. Something was wrong.
SOMETHING WAS VERY WRONG!
At once, she felt the ground shaking around her and could feel her hands radiating the power. How was this possible? Nonetheless, she felt it and kept growing, soon the small tremor had grown to a massive quake. Groaning, her arms grew veiny while she whimpered, the power in her body. Just growing at a never-ending. Just constant influx. It was like the Earth was her bitch, she could feel the massive powerful energy flowing from her body in the never-ending cycle, she tried to speak loud enough over the growing quake, which had now reached a level people were screaming and running about. Her body was practically magnetised to this spot, she could barely even move her body. It just felt like a lightning rod, all this surging Geomancery flowing out. Yet, though it was flowing out, she could feel the power pumping through her.
It hurt...
It utterly hurt...
"Help me..." she squeaked, unable to speak, her heart pounding at such a fast rate it threatened to explode. Nothing could stop her, she tried suppressing it, but in horror, her legs and arms expanded the muscles bulging.
The pain...
The pure anguish...
Meanwhile, around her, people were yelling and running around, most were heading for the main gate, but she could feel the thing cracking, the stone weakening, and ready to crash down.
She tried again to warn, to no avail, she could barely breathe, yet her body kept pumping the massive amounts of geomancer energy from her... Escaping and plunging deep into the tectonics plates. Her mind could picture the plates beginning to vibrate and shift.
In fact, she could see everything. The arch was ready to collapse...
With a loud crash and crack the tension that had built up on the gate finally succumbed. Great chunks careened down crushing hundreds the great arch of Wing City fell down in a pile of rubble... Many bodies under while people stared in horror before starting to run once more, those who stared in shock were flattened as the rest of the stone gave way.
