"Sounds like I missed out on a good time," he joked, though he was sure that there was at least some truth to that. The following interaction between Tony and Weston made him laugh, though luckily now, he had washed down his food with the rest of his beer. "Hey, man," he greeted Wes as he stood up to retrieve a new beer. He watched the siblings go back and forth, with added comments from their extended family, and it reminded him of home. Even though he wasn't dreadfully missing his own siblings, it was nice, and somehow comforting, to see something that felt familiar to him. "I wouldn't pin you as the type to come from a strict family," Dane admitted to Sam, when he sat down and began to feast on the food that was still left on his plate. "But then again, I guess all grandmas are like that. Mine was pretty by the books, too."
He knew that the plan for after Tony's was Deja's, and he was happy with that, because he hadn't seen Deja in a few days and loved her and all, but... something had him reaching for his phone to text Jesse again, and also send one to Brooklyn. Why he wanted to go to Cara's, he didn't know. Or he did know, but he didn't want to admit that it was because of that stupid crush he had on the blonde. Instead, he wanted to think that he was just curious about how his friends were doing. Yeah... that was all.

You eating at Cara's or coming to Deja's? I'm at Tony's. Trying to figure out what's next.
To: Brooklyn
Hey Brooke, happy thanksgiving. You're still in the city today, right? At your place, or somewhere else?
