"Just a bit." Sam said, taking a sip of his soda. He took a bite of his food before saying "Should we get into a fight, and Alexia starts to get...over excited, I will tell you to run. Red, Holo and Ravyn, if you hear me say this, do it and do not look back. Alexia is, by far, the fastest of any of us. Should she go into a frenzy where she can't discern friend from foe, the only course of action to get her to stop is to put her to sleep. I will take care of it, as I already have certain countermeasures. However, my reaction time isn't as quick as Alexia's, so the only way to know for certain these countermeasures would work is if I tested them out on Alexia herself while she is in a frenzy. I would rather not try it, but I also need to me assured any companion is out of the vicinity so I will not have to worry about them, regardless if they could handle themselves or not. The reason I bring this up is because, like Valen said, the more Alexia is exposed to sources of irritation, the more cautious we should become. If Alexia gets angry enough, she will rip a spine out without a second thought. You saw how Alexia got when we dealt with the crusaders before, it's only going to get worse the closer we get to our destination." He stated, taking another sip of his soda to wet his throat.
"Another thing, just something on myself. If we encounter a dragon, leave it strictly to me unless I say otherwise. Your jobs will be to make sure civilians are away from the fighting. In exchange, you may take what you want after the battle. Scales, hide, bones, blood and organs. I will take a small part, but the rest you may do as you see fit." He said. "Additionally, in case it wasn't clear, if we encounter crusaders blocking us along the way, let Holo do the talking. For starters, she's a woman, so big plus there as is. Second, her silver tongue is second to none, it won't take her a whole lot of effort to convince the crusaders that she's bringing us in as combat slaves to trade." He said, to which he pulled out iron collars with glowing symbols on them. "The symbols, while they radiate magic, are just for show. They're 'meant' to keep us in line for the markets at our destination, but they're easy to put on and take off, like so." He said, slapping on an iron collar around his neck before pulling it off just as easy. "Snap on, snap off. Easy. This'll make it easier to get us in given the small chance there's someone who can withstand Holo's honeyed words." he chuckled "Whether you want to go along with this plan is up to you, but I figured it' make it easier on all of us, but it's a group choice."
