Bryant wanted to curse as he trekked through the dirt, looking for June. Victory had tasked them with finding firewood for this evening. It was a simple task, just stay together and pick up any wood found. However, Seraphs were not apart of the plan. Bryant couldn't stand it as he grit his teeth. He's the strategic one of the group and now his strategy was gone. The seraph went after June, leaving Bryant room to escape. He ran, but turned quickly so he could follow June. He watched as the Seraph's power take hold of June, paralyzing him. He examined the area, trying to find a way to free him. He could see the Seraph was alone and had June backed against a wall. Bryant had a small cross bow on him as well as a knife. He could shoot the Seraph, but she may still have her hold on June. They'd both be in trouble than. Bryant couldn't sneak over to them without being noticed. He wasn't the stealthiest. Bryant wanted to hit his head on the tree he was hiding behind. Why couldn't he think of anything? He became annoyed when Nika saved June. He was the brains of the group and he couldn't come up with a rescue plan on the spot! Bryant will beat himself over this after he makes sure the two are safe. He watched the pale blonde seraph be approached by another one, a red haired one. The two began to talk when Bryant snuck away. He entered the abandoned building. He knew every inch of the building, having memorized many of the structures in No Man's Land. He found the two together, panting heavily. They were both alive that's all he cares about.

The morning dew was lovely to bask in. Valentina had spent the night in the mansion assigned to the Seraphim, but nothing was better than the morning hue of the forest. Valentina never was one to stay indoors. Her partner, and friend, had gone out too. Arabella, like her, did not care a stuffy mansion when the outdoors were much more refreshing. Valentina could feel the cool air hit her skin. Her flowery sundress was not meant for outside of New Eden, but she couldn't bear to change out of it. She regretted it somewhat since it was getting colder. She heard a commotion and the sound of running feet. Valentina followed the noise, bravely. She would mostly likely find outcasts who would be fearful of her. Valentina was the seraphim would always healed so conflict was not likely to occur. She found her friend, Arabella, trapping a human behind a wall. She was playing with him. Arabella wouldn't kill him, probably. The two girls enjoyed to play with their targets to see how far they would go to save themselves. While Arabella did it out of twisted pleasure, Valentina preferred to see the intellect of someone begging for their life. Valentina noticed two other humans watching the assault on the young man. The red haired seraph wanted to roll her eyes. Arabella didn't consider reinforcements to protect the outcast? Valentina couldn't stand poor planning. She watched as a brick was thrown, hitting Arabella. Valentina did nothing to stop it. She let both outcasts get away. Valentina didn't want blood on her favorite dress. When the humans left, she went to her friend. She had a head wound, but nothing threatening.
"If you paid any attention, you would've have noticed the young man's friends. Don't let your lust for control distract you."
Valentina healed the wound with her powers. Arabella glared at her. Valentina simply shrugged at the angel. Valentina took her hand and they went back towards Eden. The humans earned the right to live another day.
