"I don't know how I ended up being the bad guy here. I know you're protective of your family but still. You know what Nasir has been through but you dont know anything from Ofelias side. All I was suggesting was holding the judgement until you knew her better. She hasnt exactly had it easy either." Rowan said standing at the closed door. He doubted that she cared about Ofelias feelings in the situation at all. "Do you even know what the apparent decision she needs to make is?" He wasnt expecting an answer from her. She had stormed off in a fit and shut herself in her room like a child, while at the same time calling someone else childish. Rowan shook his head and stepped outside for a minute, taking a walk down to the pier.
Ofelia stood in the door way, she didnt go in even when he moved to his work desk. He was treating her like she was just another one of his customers, and she was slowly crumbling. His voice was cold and lifeless, and he wouldnt look at her either. Ofelia was fed up. "Nevermind..." She said just as he finished his last few words. "I'm not going to do this anymore. Im tired of you ignoring me because youre mad that I got scared and backed out of something i was supposed to be ready for. I messed up, I should never have met you in the clearing. I shouldnt have played with you like I did and i'm sorry. I thought I was ready. I was wrong and I know better now..But..That doesnt give you the right to treat me this way. Not after everything you said that night..." Ofelia stared at the ground as she spoke, tears welling up in her eyes. "I should have known better than to believe what you said. You've made it clear youre perfectly fine without me in your life....I came over to say that i made up my mind. But it's obvious by your tone that you dont care one way or another. " She stopped for a second. "I'm leaving, whether or not its for good is up to you..." She said, her voice cold and angry. She turned and walked off, tears streaming down her face the second she turned.
