Jack jumped into the air, maintaining where he wanted to float. "Kuίr, what are you doing?" He didn't want to have to defend himself against a huge wave of... whatever these things were. "Besides," Jack pointed at the mysterious being. "Who says we can't settle differences with fighting?" He didn't want to know what this thing had in mind for them. It seemed really funky.

"Oh Jack, shut up." Kuίr, or rather a shell until Kuίr was done in being wrapped in the greyish liquid, seemed to take his place. "Everyone knows that talking can settle differences. It's just that we like fighting out our differences." He looked down upon the being and Jack with a condescending look. "But anyhow. Trejik and William can fight it until I feel it has reached my standards of acknowledgment." He couldn't help but giggle. That was partially the reason why he didn't fight it. The other reason was that he was gaining his power back. But he wouldn't get it all back just within a few hours. It'd take weeks, possibly. Or even years.

Trejik forced himself to stand. He didn't know why he was drained and laying down. He didn't recall anything. "William, what happened?" He stumbled down, his right ear perking up from hearing Broken talk. "Of course. Us brave knights will come to your rescue." Trejik said sarcastically as he felt William place his hand on his shoulder.

"We didn't finish our fight..." William's voice seemed so unlike him. His eyes were a lifeless grey, gleaming with a dark light. "Us... brave knights can rescue her once I achieve the satisfying accomplishment of beating you." William slammed his left hand into Trejik's back, making Trejik go stumbling forward at Broken. "Beating you..." One could only think that now Kuίr was back at his natural state, that he was leeching off of William's desire and pride.
