Luxuria was smiling like a child who just showed her parents a very confusing drawing she made using crayons. Dominique said nothing, simply doing as she was told. Putting her hand over the candle, she almost instantly felt the burning sensation. Dom held her hand over the flame for less then five seconds before quickly pulling it away, the spot where the candle was red and painful, but as soon as it showed up, it faded away. Taking a deep breath, Dominique put her hand over the flame once again, deciding to move her hand around whenever the flame got too hot for one area. Luxuria smiled wide at this, jotting down the progress on her clip board. With the new method, Dominique could keep her hand up for much longer before she pulled it away, her entire palm red, the skin starting to boil up. It took a second before the pain and injury was completely gone, but once they were Dominique continued.
By the time the end of the week rolled around, Dominique was completely immune to fire. Originally, with her method of moving her hand around, Dom could keep it over the flame for about 20 seconds. Now, however, she could put her hand over the flames and only feel a comfortable warmth as the flame tickled her hand, or any part of her body for that matter. Dominique even pulled out a piece of hair, putting it over the flames, which did nothing to it. "The only thing not immune is your clothing, I'm quite impressed," Luxuria said on the final day of the conditioning, watching Dominique play around with the fire. Luxuria summoned Sam into the room, who took Dom back to her cell. Once again, it was empty, which Dominique was use to. However, not too long after Dominique got comfortable in her bed, reading the new manual, she heard the pin code be punched in, Robin following soon after. Before Robin even looked down to her, Dom leapt up and practically tackled him in what would be a bone crushing hug to anyone else. "Hey, you're back!" Dom said in glee, pulling out of the hug and looking up at Robin like an excited puppy. Dominique blurted the weeks progress, talking about how boring it was living with just herself, and no one to talk to.
After catching up completely, Dominique sat down on her bed, glancing at the manual she was reading. "We have a one on one fight coming up the day after tomorrow, a two day training break, and then a two on two fight." The past week was completely committed to conditioning that Dominique almost forgot what they were training and conditioning for. Dom frowned, looking upset for a moment before quickly drawing herself together again. "But we'll beat 'em, just to prove to everyone that we can get out of here." Dominique smiled to Robin, her mood quickly brightening.
