Maybe he was overreacting. Everything was fine, right? She had just gone for a little walk, and soon she would be back and they could all spend time together. No one would kill Clair--no one had any reason to want Clair dead--so she was fine, right?
Madoka leaned tiredly against the wall, slumping down to bury his head in his knees.
"M-maybe she'll come back," he muttered. "W-what should we do? I-I don't know what to do...maybe I should look for her, a-and then you can just find me if she comes back? I'm so worried about her...she was just here, I just saw her, sh-she was alive and well and everything was perfect and...and that wouldn't change so quickly, would it?"
He clutched the apatite on his bracelet, desperately wishing the "relieves grief" part hadn't been some horrible premonition.
"What do we do...?"
