Clara had been severely weakened by the coming of winter. Episodes had been more frequent and as sas her sleepwalking and nightmares. The Castle healers demanded that she still bed ridden but Clara hated it as a child and even more so now. So the Healers built her a special chair with wheels so she could move around without exerting much energy. Not that Clara listened much.

Soon, Yule was upon them and the violent storm calmed and now snow fell gently. Clara sat in her chair, watching out of the window as childern played, and to her surprise with the goblins.

She sat smiling as Narissa came in. "Morning Princess," She said and Clara smiled. "Morning." Narissa set to getting her prepared for the day. Her summer dresses were replaced with warm, fur lined winter gowns, still the black and gold of her people. "How's Robin?" She asked and Narissa nodded. "Well, Princess. He is well, The innkeeper has promised to keep his occupation a secret, Day Will Rise, he was his words.."Narissa said and Clara smiled but it didn't reach her eyes. The rebellion plot was great but she hadn't seen the Lucian persona in weeks, making her fear for what it might do to Galen, who was so kind, and warm. He seemed to truly get into the spirit of Yule, and kept himself locked away wprking on his projects. She got the feeling that if he was his own, and not cursed, he would enjoy making things.

She made him something too, well she'd needed help with it but still. She'd made two of the same, one for Robin and one for Galen, since they both would soon find out about the other after the festivies, as well as made them individual personal gifts. She looked forward to seeing Galen's face when he got his gift.

"Narissa, Take me to the Shadow King," She said and Narissa's pleasant expression vanished but she said nothing. Narissa didn't trust him and she never would, not until she learned the truth and Clara couldn't tell her yet.

Narissa did as she asked and wheeled her to him. "Good Morning," She called to him. "I was thinking that perhaps we can go for a walk, I haven't gotten the chance to see the snow yet and I'm feeling stronger today," She said though she had no plans to get up from her chair, she got the feeling Galen would want to push her himself. "And you've been cooped up in here as well, I think it would be good for the people to see you out with them and buying their wares," She said with a giggle. "What do you say?"
