Less than a month ago...

Somewhere off in a distant land far from Terra, two groups of superhuman beings warred. The UGN and False Hearts. One sought to bring the existence of the superhuman beings into the public's attention, while the others intended to keep it a secret. Both sides had their reasons for fighting, their reasons for believing what they did, however in the end none of it mattered...

Tyrfing, a legendary artifact fell into the possession of one of the UGN turncoats who were allied with False Hearts. This artifact was a Renegade Being taking the form of the powerful sword of legend, and its power stretched beyond simply existing as a sword to be used. It fed off of the emotions of those who possessed it, and brought their innermost desire out. When Saori "Silent Sheep" Yagumo came into contact with the blade, her desires of stopping bloodshed between the UGN and False Hearts was revealed for what it truly was: eradicating both opposing forces and leaving only chaos to exist. Destroying her consciousness and replacing it with Tyrfing's own, Saori was replaced with Blood Rain - a powerful Overed who has just gotten off a high due to slaughtering both the UGN and False Hearts together, and bringing her own world into chaos. Now, her next target was Terra. However, it has been forever since Blood Rain has fought, and admittedly she's gotten rusty at it...

The present...

Blood Rain dragged Tyrfing within her hand across the ground, dirt and grass kicking up behind her as the sharp blade scraped at the surface of the ground. Her steps were slow and methodical, the feeling of this land...it didn't have the same empowering feeling as her own world. Renegade Material wasn't in the air like it was there...in fact, she was the only one here letting off such a thing with every step. On the one hand, it meant she wasn't as strong. On the other hand...others could potentially become Overeds like her because of this, or the birth of new Renegade Beings could come about. So long as she spread Renegade Material, that could be accomplished. Still...Tyrfing wished for blood to coat its blade. Battle. And that's what she had to find. Slaughtering helpless animals wouldn't do, and wouldn't satisfy the sword. Only a fight where it could sink its 'fang' into the opponent's gut would satisfy it.

And so she searched, looking for people. People she could lay waste to.
