Wow, they really don't remember who I am. Tallulah thought to herself as she watched Lincoln walk away. She sighed and started to fiddle with her necklace absentmindedly. Why did she think that everything would be like it used to be? So much had happened since then. Everything was different now.
Tallulah looked around, debating if she should just leave. Go home and watch some weird old movie that would be playing on TV. Maybe drink some tea and just forget about tonight. She should probably make sure her mum was okay too; she hadn't heard from her all night. She quickly pulled her phone from her pocket and looked at the lock screen.
xxxxMum:
xxxxHey Lu, probably best if you find somewhere else to stay tonight.
xxxxI don't think it's safe for you to come back here. I'll be fine. Sorry.
Tallulah's brow creased in worry. Of course this wasn't the first time she'd had to find somewhere else to stay because home wasn't safe, but she worried about her mum. Tallulah knew better than to reply. If her mum's phone went off with a message from her, it would end up worse for her mum. Tallulah shoved the phone back into her pocket and looked up, noticing a familiar face.
Willow?
Standing around anyone was better than standing alone, she decided, and slunk through the crowd towards Willow.
"Hey, it's been a while."
