Unfortunately for Erika, who was gearing for another fight again, they couldn't catch a glimpse of this True Heroine. She probably wasn't going to show herself. Even back at home, Erika wondered who she could be, and what she could do. She wanted to fight her, she wanted to see how strong she was in comparison to her. "Heroine is a word for a female hero." She explained to her sleepy servant who no doubt was confused. "I don't know much about her, but it seems she's earned the trust of the poor." This poverty that was rampant, it was the rich who had the ability to do something about it with all of their extraneous funds. But they also wouldn't. As progressive as Edmund and Rosemary may be, their example of charity wasn't nearly enough to make a big difference in the state of the city.
Morning came and it was a very happy time for it to be the weekend. Once again Belle was here to criticize Clover in some way. Fiyero didn't seem interested in joining in her speech about what was and wasn't appropriate, though. For Erika, she wanted to use the weekend to have a chance to catch up on her thoughts and figure out how best to help Seraphina. Was it getting worse? Whatever was causing the constant injuries and bruises and bandages, was that becoming more of a problem? But it was family business, and it wasn't proper to get involved in another family's matter if they don't ask for help first. It was that rule that kept the Harringtons and Remingtons and Langleys in close concert with each other. In the past noble houses would plot and scheme to remove the others from power, but because of this unwritten rule, there was harmony between the families.
"It's a good outfit choice, but remember you're not to help her change anymore." She didn't forget Fiyero's little games. The fox was the wily type, they all knew this but he still liked to try to slip through the cracks wherever he could. Like now, for instance, but at least Belle was there to prevent anything too inappropriate. Though it was quite inappropriate for a male to be in the same room while a female was getting dressed. "Oh, who, me? But I identify as a girl right now so it's okay. Here, I can help change you, too to prove my feminine charms." Fiyero was in luck. He was going to get to spend the day with a hand-print decorating his face for the next few hours.
Once given peace and quiet, Erika got herself dressed in casual robes, not up to anything fancy. Sera wouldn't be here and she was too tired to try to learn a new piece on the flute. What was there even to do today? She could try to actually look at her school work, but she really didn't want to bother. It was work and it was the weekend. No one wanted to work on the weekend. She would just do it Monday morning. (Spoiler, the work does not get finished.) "I should train my magic." Maybe if she got stronger, Eamon would stop giving Clover a hard time about protecting her.
