It's nice from time to time, but I was raised in the mountains where our winters last about nine or ten months, so the heat just isn't natural to me," he laughed. He draped an arm over her shoulders and sipped at his wine, enjoying just sitting here with her despite not really saying much. When she said that she was going to shower, he nodded. "Sounds good, princess," he replied, watching her head off before finishing up his glass of wine. He refilled his glass, figuring that the unwanted stress of knowing Katherine was somewhere in this building warranted a second drink.
