Istrain raised an eyebrow when Haera insisted on taking him to see Barynn. He had a suspicion that he knew why Barynn wanted to see Haera, but wasn't about to say anything in case he was wrong - or in case he was right. He smirked a little when she patted his head, looking up at her. "Nope. This is my only face, babe. You gotta deal with it," he teased. He waited while James came to get the door, chuckling a bit at Haera's comment about James's baby. When she asked if he was coming in as well, he nodded. "Of course," he said, and walked with her to the room James had indicated. He knocked and heard Barynn inside tell them to come in, so he opened the door and pulled Haera inside. Barynn was sitting on the bed surrounded by papers with various sketches of jewelry on them. She blinked when she saw Istrain. "You're not supposed to be here," she said, and he blinked. "Haera made me come. She thought it was a trap," he said, and Barynn stared at them for a second. "Do I look like I could trap you?" she asked, looking at Haera. "I'm not even allowed to take myself to the bathroom when possible."
