Lorelei blinked and sighed before eating. "I might start doing that too you when you are off your meds and need to go to bed. I wonder if that would work..." She mumbled to herself. She felt a bit awkward being here... as if she wasn't married to him. James had told her she needed to snap the fuck out of it and that he knew she was depressed about the baby situation but she was going to end up losing her husband if she didn't climb out of the pit she was in. Despite James' bad side, he did have a good one and she wasn't about to lose her only friend outside of the family just because of her husband and cousin. She got up and sat in his lap sideways so he could still eat. "I love you, Adrian... and... I know I have been pushing you and everyone away... but it takes so much energy to just talk to you or anyone. It ends up with me having to defend my own damn choices. I am tired of being happy when I'm not. I am NOT okay, Adrian. I want to leave everything behind and just... not exist. And I know you have tried and I know you are depressed too but I don't know how I can help you when I can't even help myself. I can't get high because I hold people's life in my own damn hands. I don't want to lose you, Adrian..." She said softly.
