Adrian sighed a little bit. "The Lor might not have cared about things, but he wasn't happy. She didn't smile or laugh or get that look on her face that makes my heart feel all funny when something was exciting. She was just numb. And we both know numb and happy aren't the same thing." He said and then shrugged. " Dol did it because she loves you more than anything. She didn't do it to be evil or because she was angry or just out of ill will. She did it because she wanted you to have a full life, you wanted to get married and have kids, obviously. You married me, and we're trying to have a baby. We both wanted those things once we stopped being so numb to everything." He said and then sighed. "okay, so he's my friend. But you can't act like you two haven't ever gotten along or shared a laugh, or that you haven't worried about him or cared even a little. You can't say that you've always hated him because I've seen you two act like friends. And I know he's worried about you, he's said so. But if you want to ignore that then fine. He thinks of you as a friend, he's said that too, but I guess that doesn't matter because he's got secrets. It's not like you don't. You keep things from me about what you've been doing, and I just trust you when you've said you can't talk about it. Maybe he can't talk about the scars....I just. I don't understand why you're all the sudden so hostile towards the two people we have spent the most time with. People you used to love being around...I know it's partly the depression. And I know that they just accidentally fumbled their way into something were struggling with and that's frustrating I get it. I wanna be mad at them too about it, but its not like they're meaning to rub it in our faces." He said softly.
