Yoranda giggled at Birger's response, giving a nod. "That's true. So if we have one boy and one girl, the boy will be named Jerod and the girl will get a name from my obnoxiously extensive list," she told him with a laugh. She tucked some loose hair back behind her ear and turned her gaze downwards to look at her barely-there tummy bump. It was so weird to think that she actually had babies growing in there. Part of her agreed with Unarelle that they were too young for babies just yet... but it was too late to turn around. She was having some babies and it was time to step up and learn how to be a mother.
Barynn burst out laughing at Luther's reaction to her words, shaking her head a bit. "She didn't say it about you, babe, relax. Like I said, you lack it," she teased with a giggle. She wanted to lean forwards a bit, but her stomach was too much in the way to do that. "So, what'd James bring us? Baby stuff. Baby girl stuff? Baby boy stuff? I still think it's gonna be a girl, so hand-me-downs from cousin Ebony would totally be appreciated," she said with a smile, amused that he'd been so shaken by her comment about BDE that he'd forgotten to answer her question.
Priscilla nodded when James excused himself to use the washroom. She finished up her food while he was gone and sat back in her seat, sipping her lemonade. She was quiet for a moment and then closed her eyes and lowered her head a bit. God, she loved James. She loved him so much. She loved the way he made her feel, and the things he did to her - but she also loved the person she was before meeting James, and she knew that she couldn't have her cake and eat it too, but she still wanted to be able to recognize herself when she looked in the mirror. She blinked her grey eyes open when she heard James sitting back down, giving hi a smile and reaching across the table to take his hand in hers.
Zelipia laughed a little and nodded. "Okay, I guess that's fair," she said with a smile. She giggled at his comment about breaking willies, shaking her head. "No, I was like... sixteen, I think? I was sixteen when that happened," she told him with a smile. She tilted her head a bit, enjoying the way he played with her hair and thinking for a minute when he said it was her turn. "Hmm, let's see... Oh, I took tap dancing classes when I was, like, five! It didn't last very long because I sucked at it, but, ya know, at least I tried," she said with a giggle. "I'm better at dancing with my hips, and tap dancing was pretty much all foot stuff."
Kyle chuckled a bit when the girl called him a smart cookie, amused. He smiled a bit when he saw her rub her stomach. It was so small, and kind of cute. He laughed when she said she wouldn't do the whole girly thing, shaking his head a bit. "You can mix girly with non-girly. I mean, girly's cute with a little girl, but you also want her to be able to take care of herself and you want her to be strong. At least, I would, if I had a kid," he said with a bit of a shrug. He opened the restaurant door and held it for her; it was a small diner with only one person working the front, with a rather extensive menu written on chalkboards above the counter.
