Drip drop, drip drop. Runelle watched as a yellow liquid was taken through a tube and Varsu wriggled as this happened, the tube connected somewhere near her bottom. "What is that?" She asked curiously, tilting her head. Whatever it was it was mesmerizing for her. "You'll have one too." Varsu said with a smile, giggling. "Xalin says it's to keep us pure. We're humans, so our bodies are flawed and broken and we produce impurity. But he can keep us pure." Runelle nodded, that made sense to her. She wanted to be cleansed of impurities too! It would be such an honor! She looked over to Xalin who was tapping into a device, perhaps contacting someone? "Can you purify me too? What i I can't poem if I'm not pure?" It was a disaster, a nightmare! Hopefully he would allow her that honor.
"Why, of course. I'll get the purifiers set up." He ruffled her hair, not minding how it was odd and sticky. Gross, her hair was, a sign of her human imperfection. Thankfully her owner, Xalin, was a perfect. Maybe by staying close to him she could be closer to perfect as well. That wasn't silly to hope for, was it? "It's pain, but in the end it's worth it." Varsu's eyes were sparkling with an idolizing fervor. "As long as we're pure, we will be happy." Happiness... was such a thing possible? Runelle sure wanted it to be! Then the whole world would start to feel right instead of being slightly unsettling. "Please purify me." Runelle closed her eyes, wishing for this uncertainty to go away. It hurt her head and she was never a smart one to begin with! How did she know that? Well, who knows anymore, it doesn't matter.
So her pants were removed as the cage opened. "Close your eyes and breathe deep, okay, Poetpup?" Xalin couched as he connected the tubes in, inserting them. There was pain as she felt stabby stabby, sharp metal latching onto the insides of both holes. "This way you'll be kept pure." He told her gently. "Are you okay?" Runelle shook her head, she felt very off indeed. Her head was spinning and she could no longer hear and her eyes were rolling up and she wriggled and felt almost as if she were drowning three times while also flying into a sound that smelled yellow.
It was happening again, the weird thing. Varsu did not understand it but perhaps there was someone who did. So she shut her eyes - it wasn't as if she needed to sing to make use of her ability. A new pet, as four were brought in yesterday, one of the new pets might be able to do something. She could feel many minds, but decided to enter the mind of a green girl. She quickly scanned her memories to confirm that the pink girl was indeed within them. The green girl would be pulled out of her wakefulness and into a projection of her own mind, whatever it might look like. Runelle - or Pariya - pink's mind was always chaotic and red, violent and scary, but what was this Kiyoko's mind like?
"Hello, I am Varsu. You know someone you call Pariya?" She spoke. While she had no memories of herself, she knew a lot because of looking into the memories of others. It made her feel sick after, so sick that sometimes she vomited impurities over herself but even so, she had a feeling whatever was happening to her new friend was a bad thing. "She is doing this." Varsu waved a hand to project the image of the odd shaking and blank stare and tongue biting and black wings flapping helplessly. "As a former companion of Pariya, do you know how to make it stop?"
