Hadasha frowned a bit but replaced it quickly with a smile and waved. Hazel nodded and watched her go before everyone kind of sat in silence. Dev looked at Amell, "Her brother is an asshole." She said. "Maybe you should stop trying to make us get along with her and her family. I get YOU might want to be friends with her, but doesn't mean we do. This is Hazel's second time here, forced twice, and it seems like she has yet to actually enjoy being here. She has been uncomfortable both times." She said. Hadasha blinked as she listened. "Please don't think all dwarves are like Thul... I for one am not." She said softly and Dev smiled. "I know... Gammie could be sweet... maybe... she did give her brother a look. Her brother is an asshole. It is pretty clear the idiot is a racist." She sighed. Hadasha got up and hurried out before finding Thul.

"Hey..." She huffed, trying to catch her breath. "You move so fast for a dwarf." She smirked before taking a deep breath and looking up at him. "I have no idea why you dislike humans and elves so much. I never, not even once, understood my grandfather and father's disdain for them... especially when they have been nothing but kind to us... well... most of them. Our kind hasn't been the kindest to them. Either way, I can let it somewhat pass for the adults, but Hazel is just a child and it was clear how you felt about them. Plus you sister is trying SO hard to get Hazel to like her, but it seems like every time she has the poor girl over something goes wrong. I just hope this isn't your way of trying to get your siblings back home. Cherono has a human boyfriend who would lay his life down for him. Barynn has the same... I can't really speak for the twins because... well... that is a mess. Amell seems like a genuine man who literally gets paid to protect Barynn. They get along so well. He gets along well with Gammie and your nephew seems to adore him." She said and looked down at her hands. "What if this was one of your children in the place of Hazel? She had no fear of your height... she just misread your... sullen look as someone who might murder her if she looked at you wrong. Hazel may be taller than you but doesn't make her any less of a child." She said and sighed before looking back at the house.

"I honestly don't know why I came out here... I feel like maybe if I talked to you about it..." She said and looked back at him. "Sorry, I will let you get back on trying to find your brother." She said and smiled before walking back towards the house.
