Jana watched as Prince Everett dropped all pretenses of a plan and just started shambling away in the opposite direction of the guards. People moved out of the way of the bleeding, bent-over tiger rushing through the streets. It was fortunate that she'd given him that shawl to disguise his identity, and also that the bridge was blocking the view from the guards.
Jana groaned, putting a paw to her face. "Ugh. Men, always the same, I swear. Always ready to rush into danger without an idea of how they'll get out alive." Jana turned to Nellie. "Well, I guess we just have to hope that he followed our advice and went to the train station, or we're as good as dead. Come on." With that, she began to follow the swiftly-absconding idiot prince.
