"Damn it! If he's fainted this is going to be a lot more difficult than it needs to be!"

Anything would do, and he was actually considering giving up on the possibility the moment before that little orb appeared in the air before him. At that point, he cants his head to the side and peers at it curiously right up until it starts to "speak" to him. Then, he stands straight and tall
"Matthew!"
He states with surprise, though his composure never breaks.
"What's happening? Is everything alright? Where is Surael? I don't think it's wise for me to be here alone."
He questions, though with a methodical pause between each inquiry.
