The agron-infected ki-blasts it existed on dual planes, the spiritual, as it was spiritual energy, and the physical, as it was impactive tangible and able to be physically meddled with. Every blast that was fired at the crescents was not nearly powerful enough to stop them in their tracks, nor was this the purpose of the blasts. They were meant to water-down the blasts to something the initial shield could deal with. Once the energy blasts had been cut through the agron-particles were able to jump energies, infecting themselves with the psionic, ethereal, and photonic energies. This would give the electro-magnetic field something to work with leaving after the first photon-burst just enough energy to stop the multitude of crescents by deassembling them on an atomic, and particle, level. Just as this blast was deconstructed the electro-magnetic field went down.

"Shit.." Gennosuke said. "These guys aren't pulling any punches here." He said as he observed the outer-most layer of shielding go down. We're going to need to take it easy on the agron-infested cannons, we're going to need the layer of shielding of it applied indefinately, later. He still had his temporal field up and he had his 'energy retaliation' field on, as well as the gravitational field that Magnus had assembled. "There's still plenty of shielding left." He kept a close moniter on the statue within the main hall that seemed to produce the gravitational shield, the one Magnus had summoned earlier. The other two defenses were set by himself and he had plenty of control regarding them.

As if by the request of the pilot of the Black Angel, Gennosuke upped the offensive and defensive powers of the ship. "Offensive and defensive power have now both been raised to 75%" He said. The ship began to lurch as the gravity-shields released pulling any and everything around the ship inwards, the same powerful force of a black hole. Asteroids and meteors were pulled in but as as they neared the ship they were crunched into smaller and smaller pieces, it seems that there was a high degree of pressure going towards the ship that basically mashed anything that neared the ship into particle-sized bits. Before the astroids even got near the ship they were completely crushed into space-dust. Even energy was subjected to this amazing field, energy that was released would simply increase the pressure furthermore.

Assuming anything that had neared the ship's hull (Which would be nigh impossible due to the pressures ability to compress a moon-sized base arming the strongest of alloys to about the size of a nickel.) Would be processed and dispersed among the runes for assimilation, their technology would simply become a part of the xelas, just like the previous weaponry that had failed against the unique ship, and the abandoned Trantor vessel.
