It was the last preliminary match for the Terran Basketball Association. Gerard Navette was one of many who had flocked to their favorite watering hole to watch with a crowd. He was on his second round, one pennyloafer on the rail and one leg dangling below as he perched at the corner deep in discussion.
"I'll be putting money on Solinus's team this season. I'm sure you saw their lineup," Gerard said to the patron to his left, who swore by the Wing City Wildcats regardless of their play. It was then Gerard's phone rang. It was his favorite cousin over in Asteria. The caller ID showed a looping video of Nico jumping and clicking his heels. With a little smile he stepped outside to take the call.
