Aya was not happy. She did not want to be here. She wanted to get Cress back quickly and then go home to father. She couldn't be away for long or else he would be mad and lonely. Family was supposed to stick together and he was all that she had left. Why were the resistance officers trying so hard to keep her away? "Cress is going to be under cover for a few days, so you have to stay here on the Blossom Tier and wait until she needs your help." Farrel told her, kneeling down to her height. "So just stay patient and remain here." She shook her head, puffing out her cheeks. "While she's here why don't we give her something to do?" Xion suggested with a little grin.
The eyepatched lady had an idea. Aya was not eager to hear what crafty plot she had concocting for the poor squid to have to deal with. "Aya, you went to school before, haven't you? With Aine and Serpina Dorones, they were teaching you?" School? What was she planning? "I have to work, A-Aya doesn't have time for school!" She struggled, trying to escape but she knew she couldn't, not with her leg messed up like this. She had a permanent limp right now, but she didn't care. The limp wasn't going to stop her from rushing over to Cress's side! "Aya needs to go and help Cress!" She didn't want her friend to be undercover all alone. "Let's enroll her in the Camellia Academy." Xion suggested with a knowing nod. "That way Aya can get a little bit of proper socialization for a girl her age."
Farrel put a hand on his chin, seemingly liking that idea. "But she can't go as Aya, she would have to be in disguise." He said, thinking deeply. They were talking over her now, deciding her fate like lofty gods deciding what to do with a piece on the cosmic chess board. "N-no! Aya won't go!" Farrel gave her a lollipop to pacify the blonde squid for now. "Do you have any other names you like? This is the best way you can help Cress right now." He said, taking her by the hand. This was how she could help Cress? By going to school? "This way you'll be in the area to save her if the signal comes." Cress had the stick with her but the stick was useless if they weren't ready to rush to save the day.
"Th-then if it's to help Cress... Aya helps friends." She had an odd feeling she had no choice in the matter one way or another. "You'll need a different name." Farrel repeated himself, looking at her intently. "Do you have any name you want to use?" Name? Was there one? It meant being a bad girl and going against her beloved father's hopes and dreams, but there was a name she hadn't gone by in a very long time. "K-Kohyra." Her voice was thin and weak. "Korhya Filia."
