Jared blinked confused when the door opened, catching on chain-link locks and the crack left appeared empty.

He caught the sight of numerous blinking lights and the blue glow of computer screens. Before an angry and suspicious voice drew his attention downward.

"What do you want?!"

He was surprised to see a female futily trying to block his view into the house. Being as tall as he was he probably would have looked over anyone's head who might have answered, but for some reason he hadn't been expected such a petite female to answer the door. Perhaps because stealing electricity from another werewolf as old and cranky as Mr. Humphrey seemed like a bad idea for anyone to do, let alone a small she-wolf. He relaxed his stance, relieved it was not a beast that had answered and even a little happy in his luck that she happened to be quite an attractive female from what he could tell.

"I don't want anything, just want to talk." Jared said showing his hands and slightly tilting his head to get a better look at the half-hidden face staring back at him guardedly, "Your neighbor is having some problems with his electricity and, uh, I think you might know something about that."
