I try not to send people to the disciplinary unit if I can avoid it. You probably noticed there were only five or six of you there all week. In their units, inmates can spend the daytime coming and going. If they have work - about half of them have work assignments right now - they go to work. If not, they can do whatever they'd like. And volunteers aren't very eager to come all the way out here either."
