Sinfrost thought on the question in silence, gliding through the sky over the mountains and towards the sea. He didn't know as much of the history of his kind as he should, he realized. Sinfrost was always happy being a solitary dragon in the cold. His childhood wasn't remarkable - he was raised with one other, but they both flew off as soon as they could as was tradition. He had no idea where his parents were, if they were still alive to fly, or what they might be up to. It wasn't in his bones to care.

He did know one thing, though.

Dragons have been here since the beginning, and will be here, until the end,

Up here, it's an easy reminder, of how insignificant we are. Especially alone.

They soared over the Ravine of Asvith. A great cut into the earth where a piece of the mountain had awoken, and fought. Where it had punched a strange ship in the sky.

Sinfrost distracted himself from the memories of chaos and things he wasn't built to understand, and asked Solaris,
