The Spheal by the girl's side, however, did and pointed him out with strange barking noises to the Lotad. The girl, mistaking her Pokemon's communication to be referring to her last skip, which had been rather poor. "Shuttup, Spheal, my wrist slipped," she told her Pokemon good-naturedly.

"Yeah, well..." the boy said, "your wrist slips quite frequently."

Just then, Drake greeted them aloud. Both turned, smiling, to the brown-haired boy. "Hello," said the boy. "I'm Nicholas, and this is my sister Ellen. We live just inside the city. Have we met you somewhere? You seem familiar."
