Lilly finally made it to the kingdom, her journey taking about a week to travel from her home in the forest to the central land where the palace and main towns were located. The streets were filled with people from all over, and of many different races. She felt so out of place, gripping at the knot now growing in her stomach from her nerves. In her entire life she had rarely came in contact with people from outside her clan, so Lilly didn’t know exactly how to interact with others. Her eyes jumped around from face to face, taking in the many expressions of the townfolk.

Taking in a few quick breaths, she continued to venture forward. She would not turn back around just because she was scared of the crowd of people-- no, she had come too far to do so. Instead, she tried to look as brave as possible as she entered the town. Lilly could feel the stares on her as if no one had ever seen a Summer nymph before. She light out a soft groan as she wandered the streets, lost on what to do. She knew she wanted to help out in the looming war ahead, but she wasn’t sure how to go about doing so.

“Find the palace,” she spoke to herself, her voice getting lost in the noise of the street. Her eyes, which appeared to be green at the moment (often changing colors from blue to green) looked around the area in hopes of spotting some sort of large building.
