The cave was full of the black web Drider. Essembled were Aron, Alexis, Dorn, Mier and Xander. Above them seated on a pedestal of bone was Kira Blackweb, Brood mother of the Drider (A position of the highest power). Scattered around the cave and the assembled were other Drider, young ones and old and many spiders, watching worshipping and adoring their Drider masters. "Brood mother" began a yellow furred Drider. "Yes Mier?" Kira replied lazily playing with her hair. "The badlands are drying up once more brood mother, it is time to leave to the woods in the south!" There was an awkward silence. "Mier" Kira started sourly "You should know well why we cannot go south". "The elves will never know of us brood mother!" Mier continued eagerly "We have found a suitable place to live!" "Is that so" replied kira. "Yes brood mother, i myself have been there, there is a large cave, that will support out people, with fresh water from a nearby river, it is in the wood that we can easily control, there would be no threat, and if we stayed quiet momentarily, we could seize the wood and soon take the land for the Drider!" he finished and looked hopefully at Kira.

"Very well mier, i will allow you to go, and set up our new home" said Kira lazily "The badlands have become, too hostile for our people, we will be hunted soon and in a month we will join you, but". She paused chucking a bone onto the pile behind her and stroking the large spider next to her. "It will be many years until we attack the elves, many years, they are too powerful" She concluded and turned away.

The driders went on with their buisness whilst Mier and his companions left to prepare themselves to enter Seraphine
