Aaria gave him a cool steely look, lowering her bow just a tiny ammount. "How do I know you're not lying?" She called to him, her eyes never flickering from him for a second. Her tanned arms were tense as she still held her bow, pointing the arrow directly at him. She had come across many Winter Folk in her time and had learnt not to trust a soul. However, something about this one made her rethink that a little. She had never seen such power. Not one of the people she had come across had been able to put a whole village under eyes, Suddenly it dawned on her, and her bow fell limply to her side as she continued to glare, although now it was more of a steady stare. She looked around at the ice surrounding them. The ice this one had created. In some lights it looked absolutely beautiful, but Aaria was Summer, she didn't think that this cold stuff was beautiful at all, but then again she was prejudice.
"You're the Snow Walker," She said quite simply, her eyes returning to him as she frowned. She'd heard tales of this guy, but she had never come across him before as she doubted he had ever set foot on Summer land. With her spare hand, she tucked her long blonde hair behind her ear, watching him for a long time. "But you have no place here. Why are you here?" She had lost the anger from her voice. If the Snow Walker was here, then something awful must have been up. He was not the kind to intentionally attack a village such as this one. Even still, Aaria could not bring herself to even start to trust him. She had too many bad memories of Winter Folk and she had no intention of becoming friends with any.
Just then a sound made her tense. It was the sound of claws on ice. She waited for a moment, her eyes on the Snow Walker, her breath drawn. "Looks like you're not alone," She whispered, lifting her bow once again, just as Kaylin and Sherri made their way towards him. She would not be seen to be weak. Her arrow was directly at the girl sat on the wolf's back. She had seen wolves before so it was no great surprise to her to see one so large. "Look, I don't care what you are doing here, I just want you to leave. Even if this little ice storm is unintentional, you are scaring our people and I'm afraid I cannot allow that. If you can rid us of this ice, then I suggest you so, seeing as you caused this problem."
Her dark eyes narrowed slightly, as another noise behind her sounded. The sound of a horse slipping on ice. Sighing, Aaria shook her head, keeping her ice on the two Winter people before her. "Storm, you fool. Please return to the boy." She said in a gentle voice, instead of the fierce, angry voice that she had used with the other two. Storm wouldn't leave her side, even if she demanded him to do so. He only left her if it was extremely important that he did so.
"Miss, I'm sorry, but he just wouldn't stay!" A scared voice shouted to her from a distance. "I did try." Taking a deep breath, she replied steadily.
"Do not worry young one, he is safe with me." Beside her, Storm's ears were flat against his head, as he stared at the unfamilar creature before them. He stamped one hoof on the ice, not at all happy with the situation. "Calm down." Aaria told him, rolling her eyes slightly. "Just sort this problem and then leave." Her tone was icy, almost as cold as the ice itself. She ahd not lowered her bow and kept it pointing at the girl, as she had already deduced that the boy meant no harm.
