I stirr slightly, hardly able to move due to the pain in my back. The bones seem to be fused into me, because well, back in the operating room I tried to pull one out. What I dont get is why they even would do this. Yay! Now I have a wing bone strcuture, not like I can do anything useful with them.. like fly. I slowly sit up, and the previous pain in my arm feels like a pinprick compared to my back. I sit up and look around, seeing the chameleon boy, the dragon girl, KT, and a new girl being locked in her cage. Chameleon boy asks a question, but I wait until the white coat is out of sight before answering.

"Well, this is practically a living death.. so im not really sure how to answer that question." My voice is stronger now, whatever they gave me to drink had at least not been poison. The idea of it was preposterous anyway, they wouldnt kill a good experiment.. that is not until they were ready to dissect its brain. I push the thoughts away, forcing a pained smile to chameleon boy to indicate I had been joking. Though we also both knew that it really was true. The huge white bandages cover up my wing bones completely, so to them it may just look like.. well it would look like I had a bunch of bones sticking out. And that wasnt far from the truth.
